This very well detailed model of Virgin Trains Class 220 Virgin Voyager, the principal train type used on Virgin cross-country express services in the company's striking red and silver livery. An additional car, Bachmann reference 30-625 is available to form a complete 4-car Voyager train.

Complete set including 3 car unit, oval of track, which is compatible with Hornby or Peco setrack, and mains/12v power supply. Bachmann sets may be used as the core of a standard OO/HO layout.

A detailed and powerful model of the BR class 37/4, in EWS maroon and gold livery. This locomotive has travelled widely across the UK and is still is service, being a regular South Wales engine, but making occasional visits to the highland lines of Scotland!

The famous London to Scotland train is presented here in a top-of-the-range Hornby train set with LNER 4-6-2 locomotive and four classic LNER teak coaches, depicting the Flying Scotsman as it ran non-stop from London to Edinburgh in the summer seasons of the 1930s. The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch over without stopping the train.

This set contains the Starter Oval track plus extension Track Packs A and B providing a layout with two sidings, but you can also add extra Track Packs when you are ready to enlarge the circuit.
