Baron Jedburgh was one of four sister ships, three of which were built by Lithgow's for different companies that were under the umbrella of Hogarth's Shipping. They were employed in general tramping, mainly around European ports before WW2. During the war they were employed more often travelling further afieldĀ  and Baron Jedburgh was torpedoed by U-532 and sank on 10th March 1945 having dispersed from Convoy FS 1753.
