Most wooden boat kits require skill and patience in assembly. Usually the easiest to build, some are supplied with either solid or plastic ABS hulls and masts and rig are the hardest part. The most usual form of construction is plank on frame and that requires the most patience and skill.

All the current models we supply are complete with fittings, although most will require glues and finishing tools.

H. M. A. V. Bounty was a small merchant ship purchased and converted into a naval transport to carry breadfruit to the plantations of the West Indies.
