Colors: 8 16 17 47 67 85 91 92 331 The heavy cruiser 'Prinz Eugen' was put into service on 1.8.1940 at the Krupp Germaniawerft in Kiel. She had a maximum displacement of 19,042 tonnes. After joining the BISMARCK in the sinking of the HOOD, she sailed from Brest and managed to break through the Allied blockade on 11.2.1942. A torpedo struck and broke off her stern on 23.2.1942. After the repair ahe was used against Russian coastal targets. On 15.11.1947 she was sunk during an atom bomb test at the Bikini atoll.
