Usually the easiest to build, some are supplied with either solid or plastic ABS hulls and masts and rig are the hardest part. The most usual form of construction is plank on frame and that requires the most patience and skill.
All the current models we supply are complete with fittings, although most will require glues and finishing tools.

Direct descendant of the “Dromond”, a swift medieval ship of war, the “Xebec” (pronounced zeebeck) shows how the French were able to capitalise on the speed available in their battles with the Saracens etc. A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details. English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
