Usually the easiest to build, some are supplied with either solid or plastic ABS hulls and masts and rig are the hardest part. The most usual form of construction is plank on frame and that requires the most patience and skill.
All the current models we supply are complete with fittings, although most will require glues and finishing tools.

Scale model of an English Brigantine ( Brig ), popular in the 17th. and 18th. centuries. The kit is not too complicated and would suit the patient beginner to the fascinating hobby of model ship building. A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord, silk flag printed sails. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
