The ship that took the Chinooks to the South Atlantic, where they ended up on the bottom.

Albatros' new Alk327 is a 1/1250th scale die-cast model of the MS Atlantic Conveyor container ship owned by Cunard but requisitioned during the Falkands War. Sailing for Ascension Island on the 25th April, Conveyor then arrived off the Falklands in mid May, offloading the eight Sea Harriers and six Harrier GR3s she carried to HMS Hermes and HMS Invincible.  Hit by two Exocet missiles on 25th May, and uncontrollable fire killed 12 sailors, including Captain Ian North, the ship sank whilst under tow on May 28th 1982, taking down five Chinooks.

Albatros 1/1250 scale die-cast metal, waterline, assembled, painted and finished model of Atlantic Causeway, the container ship used as an aircraft repair ship during the Falklands war. The box includes two Argentinian Pucara aircraft.

Atlantic Causeway was a sister ship to Atlantic Conveyor and used to transport aircraft for the South Atlantic Task Force but, unlike Atlantic Conveyor, survived the conflict and eventually returned to the UK with two captured Pucara ground attack aircraft on deck, as modelled here, and made a fine sight proceeding from Plymouth sound into the Tamar.

This HMS Invincible is a 1/1200 scale, metal, waterline, part completed kit with the original small ski jump by Scaledown (successor to Fleetline) SAC127 kit. The kit seems to have the wrong crane painted but not fitted, so we have added a resin casting of a correct pattern of crane so that the kit can be completed as the maker intended, Painted parts have been finished in Humbrol enamels, see photograph
