The King Edward VII class were known in the Royal Navy as the Wobbly Eights because of their twitchy steering!
It was the practice to call the first Battleship built in the reign of a new monarch after the king. The rest of the class were named after countries, continents and Dominions and famous people....the usual confusion of names in the Royal Navy! Navis only models one of the class and he has chosen Africa this time.
