Showing the lighthouse since decommissioning in 1973 and in private ownership. The lighthouse was a copy of Smeaton's design for the Eddystone but the lantern differs in detail. The tower is still painted white and the lantern red but the equipment has been removed from the lantern!
The lighthouse has been modelled at mid-tide with the tower completely surrounded by water in response to a collector asking for a smaller model lighthouse to fit his cabinet!! The model is a one-piece resin casting. | |
