Navis Neptun 1/1250 IJN Soryu, an Aircraft Carrier which was sunk at the Battle of Midway, 1942 (1215)
The Japanese Carriers were worked hard in the first few months of the war and Soryu would have looked much the same in the attack on Pearl Harbor as she is modelled here.
Japan returned to the basic Soryu design for her last carriers of WW2 (the Unryus, Neptun 1211) showing the soundness of the original design.
