Navis Neptun 1/1250 IJNS Ise, a Battleship-Aircraft Carrier Hybrid, 1945 (1203)
After the Battle of Midway, Japan was so short of Aircraft Carriers that the 2 least modified Battleships had their after turrets removed and an aircrat handling deck fitted instead.
It is doubtful if they ever carried aircraft to war because Japan was short of trained pilots. Both "Ise" & "Hyuga" were bombed and sunk in shallow water at the end of the war.
