Wisconsin wasn't the biggest, the longest nor the most active of the Iowas. Her main claim to fame was the collision which resulted in the bow of the uncompleted Kentucky being grafted on in the 1950s! The bow was deck cargo when Kentucky was towed away to be scrapped. Will Wisconsin go down in history as the ship that took longest to scrap from start to finish? | |
