Built in 1913, this small tanker served German, American, British, German (again) and Japanese interests in an incredible career before being sunk by the submarine USS Puffer in August 1944. The model shows her in Kriegsmarine service in 1939 and she went on to supply U-Boats and Raiders (including "Orion") before sailing to Japan and being chartered by them! | |
