Rhenania 1/1250 Vulcain, French Navy Depot Ship (1937) (GLR20B)
Having interned Kronstadt during the Russian Civil War, it was politically impossible to return the ships to the Soviets when the French had backed the White Russians! The solution was forthe Navy to take the ship and use her as an auxillary named "Vulcain". She was withdrawn in 1937.
