Finely modelled in resin as the museum ship in Southampton in 2002 that is operated entirely by steam.
Shieldhall is preserved and open to the public. She was unusual in that she was fitted with a passenger saloon to take the public on trips whilst dumping Glasgow's sewage at sea. She was retired from service when the EU banned the practice of dumping at sea. | |
