Mercator was originally produced in German and then taken over by Skytrex. Many of the original German models are still available but Skytrex have stopped producing their own castings for the moment so where there is no stock newer models are no longer being made.
Mercator 1/1250 Espana, Hamburg Sud Passenger & Freight, 1922 (M504)
She survived WW2 and was ceded to Russia as "General Bagration".
Espana was taken over in 1939 by the Kriegsmarine and used as a troop transport until 1942, when she was returned to her owners. In 1945, she was taken as a prize at Sandefjord and was handed over to Russia in 1946.
