Mercator was originally produced in German and then taken over by Skytrex. Many of the original German models are still available but Skytrex have stopped producing their own castings for the moment so where there is no stock newer models are no longer being made.
Triton 1/1250 HMS Queen Elizabeth, a Super Dreadnought (1915) ()

Skytrex cast a number of Royal Navy Battleships and Battlecruisers for a short time and nice models they were, being slightly more massive in appearance than the Navis equivalents and having painted decks. They have been out of production for many years.

Unfortunately, this example has casting faults (extra metal) on B & X turrets and is missing the etched brass topmasts. The price reflects the extra modelling work involved in correcting the faults
