Mercator was originally produced in German and then taken over by Skytrex. Many of the original German models are still available but Skytrex have stopped producing their own castings for the moment so where there is no stock newer models are no longer being made.

Columbus became an armed merchant cruiser at the start of WW2 but was quickly intercepted by the Royal Navy and scuttled by the crew in the face of overwhelming fire power.
