She survived WW2 and was ceded to Russia as "General Bagration".
Espana was taken over in 1939 by the Kriegsmarine and used as a troop transport until 1942, when she was returned to her owners. In 1945, she was taken as a prize at Sandefjord and was handed over to Russia in 1946. | |
