Unusually, Altmark was a German Naval Auxilliary which survived WW2. In 1945, she was commissioned into the Royal Navy as HMS Bulawayo and sent to the Far East to serve with the Pacific Fleet. She never served as an RFA, remaining part of the Royal Navy until disposal and scrapping in the 1960s! | |
