Following WW2 in which the Italians lost the pride of their merchant fleet, the liner Rex, they quickly constructed more ships for the Trans-Atlantic run and Andrea Doria became their flagship. Unfortunately, she was in collision with a freighter of the coast of USA in fog and sank. | |
