Mercator was originally produced in German and then taken over by Skytrex. Many of the original German models are still available but Skytrex have stopped producing their own castings for the moment so where there is no stock newer models are no longer being made.

Mercator 1/1250 RMS Queen Elizabeth, Cunard Liner (M493)

For many years, she was the largest liner in the world. Still incomplete on the outbreak of WW2, she was completed as a troopship and only re-fitted as a liner after the war was over. Her furnishings were never as lavish as her half-sister, Queen Mary, and on retirement she went to the far East to become a floating University. Shortly after arrival, she was destroyed by fire.
