Youngerman Ship Models 1/1250 USS Juneau (II), CLAA, 1951 (YSM003)
This first ship of three of the third batch of Atlanta class AA cruisers was first commissioned in February 1946. Modelled in her post 1951 condition when her light AA fit had been upgraded with 3" guns. Withdrawn and scrapped in 1955!

This model makes an interesting comparison with the Neptun models of the earlier ships of this type.

John Youngerman is a superb scratchbuilder in this scale and he has recently turned to manufacturing models for a wider audience. Is this his best so far?
