Hilary was built in 1931 and during WW2 was used as an Ocean Boarding Vessel before becoming a Landing Ship (Headquarters) for the Sicily and Salerno landings with Rear Admiral Vian. Also present at D-Day in 1944, she was returned to her owners in 1945. The model is painted grey with camouflaged landing craft being carried outboard.
