You can only enthuse about the quality of these superb  1:1250 merchantmen. Until the end of 2003 Carat operated in conjunction with Classic Ship Collection but both both are now independent and produce models with good definition and excellent definition in the fine detail.
Carat 1/1250 Stena Germanica, a Ro-Ro Super Ferry, 1996 (018 WL WF)
Built in Poland by the same yard as the Stena Scandinavica, she was delayed by the political unrest of the time, entering service in 1986. The model shows her in 1996 when she was re-named.
