You can only enthuse about the quality of these superb  1:1250 merchantmen. Until the end of 2003 Carat operated in conjunction with Classic Ship Collection but both both are now independent and produce models with good definition and excellent definition in the fine detail.
Carat 1/1250 Thermopylae, the best all round Tea Clipper, 1867 (CSG007)
Famous for her duels with Cutty Sark (which was slightly faster but more fragile) which Thermopylae usually won!
Cutty Sark has not been available for some years but Carat has agreed to re-release her shortly. The sail outfit differs significantly between the two ships as the models show.
