Albatros 1/1250 Nahlin, the private luxury yacht built by John Brown's in 1930 (ALB8A)
Built for Lady Yule in 1930, she is probably most famous for being chartered by the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) for a holiday in the Adriatic with Mrs Simpson!
In the late 1930s, she became the Royal Yacht of King Carol of Romania under the name Luceafarul. When he was deposed by the Communists, she was re-named Liberatatea. She was restored in 2001 to the condition modelled here under her old name!
