The classic Atkinson Borderer features the later British Rail livery that succeeded the old ‘blood and custard’ of the original privatised railways. This was preceded by an all over maroon scheme and replaced around 1961 with a plain fawn livery.Finally came the all over yellow design incorporating the red 'arrows of decision' logo.
The 1:50 scale replica comes complete with separately cold cast cable reels, a detailed cab interior and, of course, that unmistakable chromed Atkinson radiator grille badging. Model length 27cm, the cab is in yellow with BR arrows in black, trailer is maroon, supplied with limited edition certificate
