A plank on frame construction, the kit contains Building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy. Length 575mm

Advanced Beginner plank-on-frame model kit of the three-masted topsail sail training schooner 'Sir Winston Churchill'. The kit features accurately laser cut keel and frame components, plus full scale plans and English instructions are supplied.
The Schooner was built in 1965 at the Richard Dunston Ltd. (Hessle, Yorks) forr the Sail Training Association in Bosham. The 'Sir Winston Churchill' is also equiped with a 240bhp engine to assist with manouvering in harbour and a total sail area of 817sqm. The main-crew consists of 11 men, including 8 officers, and can accomodate up to 44 trainees.

Expert Level model kit of the famous tea clipper 'Cutter Sark'. Model features accurate laser cut keel and frame componets, plus sheet decks, ramen masts and rigging string and fittings set.
The most famous of all tea clippers, the Cutty Sark is today preserved for posterity at a dry dock in Greenwich. Built to transport tea from China, she was designed by Hercules Linton, whose ambition it was to outstrip the Termopylae, the fastest ship of the times.

A thre-masted royal ship launched in 1627. Length 70.00 m, breadth 11,50 m, draught 4,80 m, displacement 1,400 tons, sail area 1,150 m2, with a crew of 133 sailors and 300 soldiers. On its maiden voyage in 1628, the Wasa sank in the Stockholm harbour. Using a primitive diving bell, 53 of the ship's 64 cannons were salvaged in 1664. The ship itself was lifted from the sea on 24th April 1961, and the Wasa Museum was opened the following year.
